The 28th Dental South China International Expo (DSC) was successfully held on 23rd-26th February 2023 at Area C of China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou. During the four-day exhibition, Dental South China provided a communication and learning platform to reach the goal of “gather people, promote production and develop dentistry 

through exhibition".

Competitive and intelligent products

Dental institutions at home and abroad have accelerated their digital transformation and the demand for digital dental devices has also increased. In this context, moving from "manufacturing" to "smart manufacturing” has become a hot topic. Dental South China 2023 focused on the theme of "Innovative Smart Manufacturing in Dental South China" and paid more attention to the digital transformation and artificial intelligence reform. A series of activities are carried out to build an integrated platform for production, learning, research and international communication, introducing more advanced dental technologies, concepts and products from around the world.

More than 830 world leading companies from over 20 countries and regions brought new technologies to improve the efficiency of the whole industry. New Product Launch Event was held to present new products, new materials, new technologies and new applications through presentation, demonstration and interview. A visitor who has visited DSC for four years said that DSC kept amazing him each time. “This exhibition is particularly well organized. To my surprise, the exhibitors brought a lot of new equipment, which are quite different from the previous.”

High-level conferences and key opinion leaders

With the measures optimization for personnel exchanges among the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau, Dental South 

China 2023 encouraged the academic communication from Hong Kong and Macau. The forums such as "The 15th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan Dental Implant Summit Forum" and "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Oral Health Summit Forum" explored the innovative cooperation mode in the four regions.

More than 200 academic seminars were held during the expo, including "China Stomatological Hospital Development Forum", "Private Stomatological Development Forum". 300 professors were invited to share experiences, new ideas, practical clinical techniques, new research results, advanced equipment application methods and industry cases in the current market environment. 

Multi-Dimensional Immersive Experience 

Dental South China 2023 actively created an immersive experience. World Dental Device Museum was introduced by DSC 2023 at first time, telling the civilization, history and evolution in the industry. The Art Gallery showed the intelligent development trend of dental clinics through digital art and the Dentistry Job Fair built a broader bridge between enterprises, institutions and visitors. These scenes attracted a large number of visitors because they could gain high-quality jobs, innovative interaction with exhibitors and deeper understanding about the history, current situation and future of dental industry.
