The 31st Dental South China International Expo (hereinafter referred to as " Dental South China”) successfully concluded on 6th March 2026 at Area D, China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou. Marking another highly successful edition , Dental South China presented a grand industry event featuring in-depth integration of industry, education, research and application.

 

Building Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application

 

Leveraging the industrial strengths of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Dental South China is not only a platform for business matching, but also a hub that gathers global innovative resources and promotes the in-depth integration of industry, education, research and application. Covering a total exhibition area of 84,000 square meters, Dental South China attracted 1,156 high-end dental brands and manufacturing enterprises from more than 25 countries and regions, along with 74,788 professional visitors from home and abroad during the four-day exhibition. The Italian Pavilion made its debut, showcasing advanced products and technologies alongside the German Pavilion, Korean Pavilion and other national and regional pavilions.


AI Empowers the Industry Ecosystem

 

2026 is an important year for dental industry to improve standardization, intelligentization‌ and internationalization, and Dental South China showed the innovative achievements in the industry chain.

 

In 2026, the "Medviewer Future Clinic Experience Area" became the highlight of the exhibition. With the interconnection of intelligent headsets with microscopes, oral scanners and navigation systems, visitors could experience the efficient diagnosis and treatment by AR glasses. This demonstrated that the digital diagnosis and treatment technologies are increasingly became a new standard in clinical practice, while the industry continues to undergo transformation driven by intelligent technologies. Meanwhile, many domestic brands enter a phase of high-quality development, achieving significant achievements.


International Business Cooperation and Communication


Dental South China attaches importance to international exchange and encourages communication between exhibitors and buyers, attracting visitors from more than 100 countries and regions every yearIt is held in Guangzhou, an important port for international trade and one of the largest dental equipment manufacturing bases in China. With these geographical and industrial advantages, overseas buyers could find cost effective and high quality Chinese products during the expo.

 

Several dealers from Malaysia and Philippines have expressed their astonishment that the development of Chinese products has exceeded expectations. A Canadian buyers went straight to the booth of a Chinese brand and purchased materials worth over CAD 20,000 on site. He said that his friends saw his exhibition review and planed to attend with him next year.

 

International Buyer Program was launched to invite international buyers to participate in this great event. Overseas buyers from Bangladesh, Canada, Egypt, India, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore and Vietnam visited in groups and the number of overseas visitors increased by 300% compared to the previous year. They enjoyed memorable experience during the expo because Dental South China provided comprehensive support services, including service guide, transportation tips, hotel reservation, travel guide and business matching for them.

 

Stomatological Seminars Promoted International Technical Exchange

 

During the four-day exhibition, 286 stomatological seminars were held, gathering more than 300 experts from home and abroad and presenting a splendid academic feast for the industry.

 

The Belt & Road Stomatology Conference invited professionals from Cambodia, Egypt, Malaysia, Myanmar,  Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam to share ideas and experience, discussing the topics on oral health needs and promoting coordinated development of dental industry in these countries through complementary strengths and resource sharing.

 

In addition, The Belt and Road International Training Workshop on Dental Technology attracted 16 dentists from Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, which aimed to encourage technical exchanges, international friendship and industry development. During the 11-day training, candidates visited famous Chinese dental device enterprises and the World Dental Device Museum. This combined exhibition experience and research communication, facilitating the matching of international clinical needs and China's R&D capabilities and achieving a leap from "product trade" to "technology standard output". Candidates also traveled around Guangzhou to learn the unique charm of this city, which helped to enhance the understanding of local history and the friendship between China and the Belt and Road countries.

 

High-end forums closely focused on the competitive situation of the industry and the medical reform policies, discussing the paths for high-quality transformation. The "EasyGo Training Classes" focused on clinical practice and were widely welcomed by dentists, which played an important role in enhancing dental service in China. 


Diversified Activities Enriched the Festival Atmosphere of the Lantern Festival

 

3rd March 2026 is the Lantern Festival, a traditional Chinese festival. Dental South China specially set up a Lantern Festival photo area and a Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Area, and visitors could immerse themselves in the festival atmosphere during their busy schedules. Other activities including Stamps Collection, Creative Product Zone and Fans Club Lucky Draw brought visitors a diverse range of experiences.  

 

Dental South China successfully concluded on 6th March 2026, and the 32nd Dental South China will be held on 3-6 March 2027. Rooted in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and connected to the global marketthe exhibition will continue to promote the technological innovation and talent training, and work together with global partners to make contribution to the industry development.
